Bocote is a gorgeous wood that comes from Mexico, Central America, and the West Indies. It is a rich, dark wood with a wide range of grain patterns. This type of wood is so glossy when sanded. It is one of my favorites.  The cross is hand made from brass. It is about 3' x 4.5" including the cross. All prayer vessels come with a little prayer note pad.
